Phoenix Rescue Mission – Phoenix, AZ

In 2007, Capital for Compassion delivered a $1.0 million AHP grant for Phoenix Rescue Mission to build its $11.0 million Changing Lives Center with a total of 68 transitional housing units among four buildings with private-single family dwellings for homeless women and children, in addition to three community buildings, a daycare, after school enrichment center, recovery resource center, and an exercise track.

In 2017, a $2.0 million AHP grant was received for the construction of the $10.4 million Community Solutions Center.  The four story facility has a 120 bed capacity and includes medical and dental exam rooms, a barber’s room, social service provider offices, classrooms, and a multipurpose room.
